On November 7th, the students of Salem Jr. High School had the opportunity to watch the students of Salem High School perform the musical “Guys and Dolls”. This play/musical was based on a book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, which was based off of two short stories by Damon Runyon, with the music and lyrics written by Frank Loesser. It was written in the 1950’s and is about gamblers in New York finding love.

Intramural Sports at SaJHS

Submitted by jolynn.ford on

Intramural sports is a good way for a student to have fun, and play anoncompetitive sport. The sports are available for all students who go to Salem Hills Jr High School. The sports are all paid for by the district, so they are all free. Plus you can attend whenever, wether it be one day or more. There are no teams so you can't be cut from it. You can come to the sports either in the morning between 7-7:45 before school, or after school. The sports will be held in the gym by Mr.Blanchard.
