The Spartan Spirit award is presented to two 9th grade students who have exhibited academic achievement, good citizenship, determination, courage, kindness, and integrity while being a student at Salem Jr High School.
The Kiwanis Club awarded some of our 9th grade students with the Hope of America Award. Students were nominated by faculty and staff and then asked to complete an application explaining their service, school, and extracurricular activities as well as write an essay. The Kiwanis Club the chose the students to receive this prestigious award.
Students were honored by receiving the Spartan Summit award at our End-of-Year Awards Night on May 1. The Spartan Summit award is an award that was created the first year Salem Jr High School opened as a way to increase literacy in our community. Students, faculty, staff, and members of the community are eligible to earn this presitgious award. The requirements for this award are:
