Next year students will need to start paying for school lunch and breakfast again. Lunches will continue to be free for the remainder of this 21/22 school year; however, the lunch department wants to ease into it this year so students know the system before next year. Beginning Friday, April 22 students will need to either scan, with the barcode on their student ID, or enter their lunch numbers. Each student was issued a student ID at the beginning of the school year. If they transferred to Salem Jr after that time, they also received a student ID.
