SaJHS Talent Show: Don't hide your talent under a bushel! We are excited to have students audition and show off their skills at the SaJHS talent extravaganza. Starting March 21st until April 15th we will have sheets in the office to sign up for an audition slot. Your talent should not exceed 8 minutes (unless it's yodeling, then the sky's the limit). Callbacks will be later in the month of April and the talent show will have a rehearsal on the 12th of May. The actual talent show will be on the 13th of May.

Keith Richards is the principal at Salem Jr High. The funniest experience he had in junior high was when a kid fell asleep in shop class and woke up halfway through the next period.  He loves hunting, baseball, and vacations in the mountains.  Mr. Richards loves making a difference and believes the best place to do that is with young people in schools.

Alece Tomadakis is the librarian at Salem Jr High. One of her favorite things is a zipline at their family cabin that is 330 feet long. When Mrs. Tomadakis was in junior high, her dad was the principal at her school, and she liked to go to his office for a treat.

Christina Stewart is a technician at Salem Jr High. When she was in junior high, she liked to wear a jumpsuit with a big fabric belt and pegged pants (similar to what we call joggers today).  Some of Ms. Stewart's favorite things are ice cream, apple pie and peanut butter Twix.

Sam McGrath teaches English at Salem Jr High. He failed metal shop in 8th grade because he didn't turn any of the projects in even though he completed them.  When he was in school, pants were so baggy you could fit your textbook in your back pocket.  Some of Mr. McGrath's favorite things are the color blue, pasta, Dr. Pepper, and the movie Shogun.
