Vanessa Gillie teaches English at Salem Jr High. When she was in 8^th grade, she learned about The Diary of Anne Frank, and her teacher challenged the class to try hiding in a basement for 6-8 hours over the weekend.  Mrs. Gillie loves to read outside, watch movies while eating Costco popcorn, and wear aprons while she bakes.
