Open Gym: We are starting our Basketball Open Gym/Intramurals for 8th and 9th grade Boys and Girls on Monday Oct. 24th through Friday Nov. 4th.  Monday will run 2-3:30, Tuesday - Friday 3-4:30 both weeks.  If you have any questions email casey.boyer [at] nebo.edu (casey[dot]boyer[at]nebo[dot]edu)  Thanks!!

September Teacher Spotlight - Emily Edman

Emily Edman was born and raised in Puerto Rico. When she worked at a library, she decided she wanted to become a teacher. Mrs. Edman enjoys writing articles for fun and dancing to salsa music with her broom when she sweeps.

Mrs. Edman won the spelling bee in 8th grade even though English is her second language!

September Teacher Spotlight Jamie Siggard

Jamie Siggard was born and raised in Santaquin, Utah. She was inspired to become a teacher because she loves learning and laughing with young people. Some of Miss Siggard's favorites are:

  • Brookside Chocolate Covered Blueberries
  • Cherry Fresh Lime Soda
  • The color Light Blue
  • Movie: "Wonder"
  • Anything outdoors: backpacking, running, skiing, rafting


She has traveled to 26 countries and currently lives with roommates. She has 9 brothers and 1 sister.

Congratulations to Our Cross Country Teams: The girls took 2nd and boys took 3rd in the district finals.

Pep Band Performance

On October 6th our band joined the Salem Hills High School Marching Band to create a 100 person pep band for the football game! The students performed great and represented our school well at the event.

Our next performance is our Winter Concert on December 6th. We hope to see you there!
