In February, over 70 of our Salem Spartans put their literary knowledge to the test in the Salem Jr. Battle of the Books Competition. After an intense final match, "In Honor of Potatoes" emerged victorious! Congratulations to team members Emma Horne, Emma Stanton, Louisa Peterson, Jessie Datin, Ava O’Neil, and Kaitlin Binks on their well-earned win.
The excitement didn’t stop there—Salem Junior High’s team went on to claim victory at the District Competition on February 13! Their final challenge came this morning in a thrilling showdown against our teacher team, "Fiction Addiction," who managed to edge out a win in a sudden-death tiebreaker.
