Salem Junior High School students recently hosted KSL News to showcase their generous holiday spirit. The students raised over $2,000 through their “Quarters for Christmas” fundraiser, which will be donated to help families in need during the holiday season.
The fundraiser, a beloved tradition at the school, encourages students to bring in donations to contribute to a worthy cause. This year, the students surpassed their goal, demonstrating their compassion and commitment to helping others.
“We are so proud of our students for their generosity and hard work,” said Keith Richards, Principal of Salem Junior High. “This fundraiser is a wonderful way to teach students the importance of giving back to the community.”
KSL News was on hand to highlight the students’ efforts and the positive impact their donation will have on local families.
