SaJHS Students participate in Livestock Show at Spanish Fork Fairgrounds

Did you know many students from Salem Hills High School and Salem Junior High raise and exhibit animals at Junior Livestock Shows around the state every year? We have students showing steers, lambs and hogs locally this week.  The local auction is on May 3 at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds.  Now is a great time to fill your freezer and support the youth of our community.  The cost is listed below. The following is a list of students who are competing at the Junior Livestock Show this week:  Beef:Swasey Bliss, McKay SimmonsSheep:Sakia Brost, Savanna Martinson, Tiffany Anderson, Jessica Cory, Jocelyn Bell, Kalee Reid Hogs:Rylee Beckstead, Melody Hatcher, Megan Hickman, Trevan Conrad, Alley Meredith, Wyatt Swinford, Brett Aitken, ShaNae Jolley, Keelan Stewart, Kenna Heath, Isabell Brockbank, Brynn Dudek, Ainsley StonemanHow much will an animal cost?1/2 Hog $200.00       Whole Hog $400.001/2 Lamb $175.00     Whole Lamb $350.001/2 Beef $1100          Whole Beef $2200Animals can be sent to processing at: Circle V, Springville, Dixons, or Gary's Meats.  There are many other students not listed that attend our schools and could use the support.If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
