Cure the Summer Slide with Summer Reading

Submitted by sam.mcgrath on

It's a well-documented fact that kids slide backward in their learning over the summer. In order for kids to retain the skills and knowledge that they have acquired during the school year, they must keep using their brains. There is no better way for kids to do that than to read. Also, since they are probably more cooped up in the house this year than ever before, with so many vacation destinations closed, reading is a great alternative to constant video games and cell phones.
