Biology students and their parents hiked the switch back in Woodland Hills to collect woody plants for their biological collection. It was a great hike. These are the brave souls that made it to the top! It was a great day!

Students will be pressing the plants in their collection and creating a binder that identifies each plant that they found during their hike.

Submitted by sam.mcgrath on

Congratulations to Ammon Wallace who was chosen from more than 6,000 students to be in Broadcom Masters' top 300 students for his science fair submission. Some of you will remember last year when we posted about Ammon's project that explored the possibility of extending the shelf-life of milk using blue light. We were impressed with Ammon's creative solution  and it turns out that so were the judges.
