It is no small task getting 1000+ students to and from school each day, and we appreciate all of the support and help from our patrons as we seek to make pick up and drop off run as smoothly as possible. We appreciate your support in helping us to make this a safer plan for students and drivers. There are three open doors each morning until the bell rings to start the school day (noted in yellow). After that time, only the front door will remain unlocked for safety purposes and students will need to check in at the front office.

We hope that you are excited and gearing up for another great year of school! We are excited to welcome you to become Spartans. We know this year has had many unique challenges with COVID, going to at-home learning in March, and now moving to a new school. We believe that you are up to these challenges and we are here to help you along the way.

As many of you have heard, we are planning to go one-to-one with Chromebook distribution when we start school on August 19. Students will be issued a Chromebook that they will be allowed to use for educational purposes here at school and at home, and students will have the same Chromebook for the duration of the school year. The cost of the Chromebook is covered under each student's basic registration fees.

Cure the Summer Slide with Summer Reading

It's a well-documented fact that kids slide backward in their learning over the summer. In order for kids to retain the skills and knowledge that they have acquired during the school year, they must keep using their brains. There is no better way for kids to do that than to read. Also, since they are probably more cooped up in the house this year than ever before, with so many vacation destinations closed, reading is a great alternative to constant video games and cell phones.

Check out these resources to help you find fun, entertaining books for your kids to read this summer.

On Monday, June 22nd, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we will be doing two things: checking in items that need to be returned to the school (e.g. Chromebooks, instruments, choir uniforms, textbooks, library books, etc.) and handing out yearbooks (if purchased). This will be done in a drive-thru fashion in two of our parking lots (see attached map), alphabetically by last name.
