Student Wellness Center

Submitted by neely.mcewan on

Over the past summer our counseling and administrative team have been working to create a Student Wellness Center here at Salem Junior High School. The goal of our Wellness Center is to provide a safe place for students to practice and learn self-regulation by taking short mental health breaks as needed, with the goal of students returning to class as soon as possible. Several schools in our district and many statewide are implementing Wellness Centers in hope to better support their students.
