Salem Jr. High Hope Week will be held during the week of October 29 through November 2. Students are encouraged to reach out to others and make connections to strengthen friendships and learn resilience skills. The theme for Hope Week is “Connections” and daily activities are as follows:
All Week: Students can pick up a “Hope Squad Scavenger Hunt” card at the Counseling Office and throughout the week gather all the signatures of members of the Hope Squad and turn the card in at the end of the week for a treat.
Monday: “Connect with Your Friends”--Play Twister @ Lunch
Tuesday: “Connect with Music--Stay Upbeat”--Music and a Surprise Game @ Lunch
Wednesday: “Connect with Your Inner Creativity” Halloween Costume Contest @ Lunch
Thursday: “Connect with Relaxation”--Hawaiian Dress-Up Day with a Contest @ Lunch
Friday: “Connect with Kindness”--School Spirit Dress-Up Day (School and Sports Uniforms)--Hope Notes in the Commons.
