The English Department hosted the annual Salem Jr. School Poetry Slam on Thursday, May 2nd. English classes had their students "slam" their self-composed poems over the past few weeks and the winners from the class slams advanced to the School Slam. There were 57 students who participated in the School Poetry Salm. We had 3 students advance to District Slam on Tuesday, May 7th at Spanish Fork High School. Students worked hard on their poems and slams. We are proud of all of your hard work!
The top three slammers are Camilla Mehlhoff, Asher Doyle, Sawyer Simons, and Andie Atkin as the runner-up.
