Chromebook Insurance: Chromebook insurance is $30. If you would like to purchase chromebook insurance, you can bring your money into the school and pay the finance office or pay online at MySchoolFees. The deadline to purchase insurance is coming up. Any damage or loss of a chromebook without insurance will be charged up to $270 to your student's account. The insurance is optional, but we recommend it because even minor damage and repairs to chromebooks often cost more than the insurance does.

If you think you may qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch: Go to Infinite Campus Parent Portal and log in. Then click on "More" in the left-hand column. Then click on "Meal Benefits" and finally click on "click here to start the application process".

Pick-up/Drop-off information: Please follow the directions in the Traffic Map Link to help make pickup and drop-off as smooth as possible. Please have patience with the system as it just takes time to have over 1000 students picked up or dropped off at the same time. Also, we are asking that you do not drop off or pick up your students on the west side of main street for their safety.

Athletics: All students are welcome and should come and be involved. Jr High athletics is a great way to learn about teamwork and leadership, and to just have fun together.

Our fall sports we offer at the Junior High are Girls Tennis, and Boys and Girls Cross Country.

Our winter sports are Girls and Boys Basketball, and Girls and Boys Wrestling.

Our Spring sports are Boys tennis, and Girls and Boys Track.

If you are interested in any of these sports, now is a great time to take care of your Pre-participation Physicals and registermyathlete.com. This is the link for the form: https://www.uhsaa.org/forms/forma.pdf

Get these done early because you can't participate (tryout or practice) unless everything is done beforehand.

Congratulations: Congrats to our students who participated in the Utah High School Cycling League NICA race this weekend. We're proud of their hard work and dedication. Extra congratulations to Beckam Penrod, William Turner and Jack Pierce who placed on the podium.

Period Products: To be compliant with recent legislation (House Bill 162), our school will be offering free period products in all girls' bathrooms. Donated dispensers will be installed within the coming weeks. Please discuss the need for and proper use of period products with your children.

PTO Opportunities: The PTO has lots of great opportunities for you to get involved this year with activities that we have planned. If you have an hour here or there whether it be at home, at the school or by simply adding a few extra groceries to your order please click on this link to a Google Form and sign up where you can serve.
