Advisory Lesson: On Mondays we have a little time built into the schedule for advisory time. We use this time for a variety of school wide activities which includes inform students about school events, teach school wide lessons about student success skills, student news show, and policy reviews. The lesson this week was used to review information about the Nebo district harassment policy. Please take a minute to review this  presentation and have a conversation with your student.

School Lunch Menu: Here is the link to our lunch menu. Take a look to see what delicious delights are being prepared for our school. Thank you, students, for being patient, following the rules in the lunchroom, and cleaning up after yourselves! It helps our lunch ladies and custodians out.

Job Opening for Child Nutrition Worker: We continue to have a position open for a child nutrition worker, "lunch lady". If you want to work in a fun environment with a bunch of great ladies feeding the best students in all the land, please apply at this link.

Substitutes Needed: If you like adolescents and have patience, substitute teaching just might be the perfect job for you. For the right person it's like being paid to be entertained. The daily rate starts at $85 a day. Nebo School District is partnered with EDUStaff for its substitute needs. Follow this link for more information.

School Dance: Hello students! Do you like to cut a rug/shake a leg/trip the light fantastic?!?! Come show off your sweet moves at our next school dance on December 9th at 3:00 pm! The cost is $3 per student. Please remember that dances at SaJHS are only for SaJHS students and you must have an S in your citizenship in all your classes to be allowed in! See you there!

Peer Tutors Needed for Second Semester: For next semester we have a need for students to be peer tutors in our classroom with students who have disabilities. I was a peer tutor from 7th-12th grade and it was truly one of the best and most impactful experiences of my life. If your child is interested in becoming a peer tutor please have them come and talk with a counselor or Miss Siggard who is the teacher. This counts as elective credit and will take the place of one of their 2nd semester elective classes.
