Math Club: Hungry for math? Then you might want to join the new Math Club! Five 8th graders and five 9th graders from the club will get the chance to prove their math skills in the upcoming District Math Tournament, get t-shirts and win big. The first club meeting is after school on Tuesday, Nov. 16th in room 110. Talk to your math teacher for more information!
9th Grade CCR's: Parents of 9th Graders, it's time to sign up for a 9th Grade College and Career Readiness meeting. At this informative 30-minute meeting we will discuss high school graduation requirements, college and career options available to students in high school and beyond. We will also discuss how to prepare for high school registration in the spring. Be sure to check your email for a Sign-Up Genius link from your counselor. We hope to see you soon!
ATHLETICS
Wrestling: Practice began this week. Remember that you need to have registermyathlete.com filled out and a physical done before you start practicing. Everyone is invited to come and participate, 8th and 9th graders, Boys and Girls.
Intramurals
Tennis intramurals will go Tuesday through Friday 3:00-4:30 for the next few weeks (weather permitting). Just meet at the Tennis courts.
Weight Lifting Intramural began Tuesday Nov. 9 and will go Tuesday - Friday until Friday Nov. 19th.
Basketball Tryouts: We will have basketball tryouts on the 10th of November. This is only for 9th graders, Boys and Girls. You need to have your physical done and registermyathlete.com filled out and completed in order to try out. Girls Lacrosse: Open gym Lacrosse for 9th Grade girls begins today, 11/9. It will be held in the weight room at the high school.
School Lunch: Here is the link to our lunch menu. Take a look to see what delicious food is being made for our school. Thank you students for following the rules in the lunchroom and cleaning up after yourselves! It helps our lunch ladies and custodians out.
