9th Grade CCR's: Parents of 9th Graders, it's time to sign up for a 9th Grade College and Career Readiness meeting. At this informative 30-minute meeting we will discuss high school graduation requirements, college and career options available to students in high school and beyond. We will also discuss how to prepare for high school registration in the spring. Be sure to check your email for a Sign-Up Genius link from your counselor. We hope to see you soon!

Intramurals: Tennis intramurals will go Tuesday through Friday 3:00-4:30 for the next few weeks (weather permitting). Just meet at the Tennis courts.

School Lunch: Here is the link to our lunch menu. Take a look to see what delicious food is being made for our school. Thank you students for following the rules in the lunchroom and cleaning up after yourselves! It helps our lunch ladies and custodians out.

Girls Lacrosse: Open gym Lacrosse for 9th Grade girls begins 11/9.  It will be held in the weight room at the high school.

Food Drive: This month we are contributing to Tabitha's Way, a local charity that donates food to those in need in our community. Want to help? Here's how you "can"! Bring canned food to your Math Teacher. Donations cannot be expired or dented. Make sure your teacher knows what you brought in so they record it correctly. The class with the most donated cans will earn a Pizza Party! The second most donated gets a donut party! It's simple math… Pizza>Donuts The race is on and the competition is hot! Bring as many "cans" as you "can", you "can" do it!

Student Wellness Survey: In an effort to help our students be more successful at school, we will be having them take a wellness survey on Monday, November 22nd during advisory. The survey will focus on the following competencies: Emotion Regulation, Growth Mindset, Self Management, Self Efficacy, Social Awareness, Supportive Relationships, Grit. The survey they will complete is attached for you to review. After it is completed, we will be able to get you a printout of your child's results and ideas on how to improve in these areas if you would like. We will also use the data to help us identify strengths and weaknesses and areas of concern for all students which will guide our learning efforts. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about your student taking the survey. Thanks for your support.

Monthly Social Media Contest: The Student Council is continuing our monthly social media contest! This time, take a picture of something you are grateful for and direct message it on Instagram to the school account: SajhsSpartans! You will be entered into a drawing to win a prize!
