Outrage Winter Retreat Information

Midterm: Tomorrow is mid-term. After this Friday, there are only 20 school days left until Christmas break which is also end term 2. Log into Infinite Campus to check your students' progress and grades. Encourage them get their missing assignments turned in and to reach out to teachers if they need extra help. Teachers will be available to meet with students this Thursday, November 17,  after school until 4:00. This is a great time for your student to talk to teachers and get extra help. Math lab is also offered each week Tues-Fri from 2:45 to 3:45 in room 105.

Canned Food Drive: We are having a canned food drive! Bring all of your non-expired, undented cans to your Math Teacher! The Period with the most cans will get a pizza party! Let's get competitive and provide as many cans as we can to families who need it this Thanksgiving! Last year we got over 8000 cans! Let's top ourselves! Good luck Spartans!

Student Success Center: The Student Success Center in room 109 is available to assist students in reaching their academic goals. Students can scan the QR code below or use this link to fill out a form letting us know they would like some help. A student success tracker will meet with each student to work out a time for them to come in and get help.

Advisory Lesson Monday November 14: On Monday we had an advisory lesson on peer pressure. Peers have enormous influence on teenagers. This pressure can be positive or negative. Here is a link to the presentation. Please take a moment to review it and have a conversation with your student.

Utah County Health Department: Outrage is the county health departments youth substance abuse outreach program. They are hosting a winter retreat on  December 3, 2022, from 1pm-9pm at the Health and Justice Building (151 S University Avenue, Suite 2700, Provo, Utah 84601). Youth who attend will be educated about what it means to be an advocate, issues surrounding substance use, mental health tips and tricks, and a holiday party to wrap it up. Dinner will be provided for those that attend. Those that are interested need  to RSVP by using the QR code on the attached flyer. Youth who attend will be able to make new friends, become involved in a good cause, and learn how to let their voice be heard.
