Last Day of School: The end is near. In a good way! On Friday, students are only allowed to bring a yearbook and pen to sign yearbooks with. We will begin to let students in the building at 7:30AM and only through the front entrance and south bus entrance. Students will not be allowed to have backpacks, markers or anything except a yearbook and pen. School dress code will still be enforced. If you bring anything to school besides a yearbook and pen, we will hold your items in the office until the end of the school day. School's... Out... For... Summer... promptly at 11:15. Enjoy the last couple of days!
Job Opportunity at Salem Jr High (for school year 22-23): We have a job posted right now for a technician in our special education cluster unit. It is a great job helping some of the most awesome students you will ever meet. This is a perfect job if you want to work when your kids are at school and be home when your kids are home. Locker Clean Out Wednesday the 25th: Students need to have their lockers completely emptied out by the end of the day on Wednesday the 25th. Anything remaining in a locker will be removed after school that day. The combinations will be changed that evening, students will not have access to lockers on Thursday or Friday.
Year Books: If you would like to purchase a yearbook they are $25.00 each. You may pay for them in the finance office. If you have any questions or concerns please call Mrs. Cook in the Finance Office. If you owe any fines or fees please remember to pay them before Wednesday, May 25th so you can receive your yearbook during the early release. We will only be giving out yearbooks on Wednesday to those that have all their school fines and fees paid. Parents have your students write their name in their yearbook as soon as they get it.
Library Books: Library books are due. Have your students check their backpacks, night stands, under their beds or anywhere else they might have left a library book and have them turn it in to avoid a library fine.
Golf: High school golf tryouts will be held Monday August 1st & Wednesday August 3rd @ Gladstan golf course 12:00 pm. You must have your physical and registration done on registermyathlete.com BEFORE tryouts. Will play 9 holes each day. Boys are responsible for their own green fees.
