Congratulations: Both our Girls and Boys basketball teams are in the district championship games this Thursday at Spanish Fork High School. Boys play Mapleton at 5:00 and the Girls play Spanish Fork at 7:00.
School Dance: February 11th from 3:00 - 5:00 is our LAST school dance of the year. It is $3.00 cash, no "U"'s in citizenship, and your SaJHS student ID to enter. Only SaJHS students are allowed.
School Lunch Menu: Here is the link to our lunch menu. Take a look to see what scrumptious foods are being prepared for our school. Thank you students for being patient, following the rules in the lunchroom, and cleaning up after yourselves! It helps our lunch ladies and custodians out.
9th Grade Registration (current 8th grade students): Parents are invited to join their 8th grader for a college and career readiness meeting and 9th grade registration. The meeting will be held in the library during the student's English class on February 8th.
Weight Lifting Club: Weight lifting club is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 - 4:00.
Group For Girls: Salem Jr. High's Counseling Department is offering a group just for Girls. Group will start on February 17, run for eight weeks, and will include approximately 10 girls. Topics will include:

- Self-Esteem
- Positive Thinking
- Personal Affirmations
- Positive Response to Social Media
- Healthy Coping Skills

Student Success Center: The Student Success Center in room 207 is available to assist students in reaching their academic goals. Students can scan the QR code below or use this link to fill out a form letting us know they would like some help. A student success tracker will meet with each student to work out a time for them to come in and get help.
