Val-O-Grams: February 6th - 10th Student Council will be selling Val-O-Grams in the commons during lunch! Each Val-O-Gram costs $1 in Cash and will be delivered on Valentine's Day!
February 14th: After school at 3:00 - 5:00 PM we will be having our Valentine's Dance! It costs $3 cash to get in. Only SaJHS students are allowed and you need to have S's in Citizenship to come! If you have any U's or N's get them made up with the teacher right away! We will have a live DJ! No date required! Bring your friends and have an awesome time!
No Valentine's Day Deliveries: Valentine's Day is coming up and I know that we are all excited for the day dedicated to love. Please know that we love your students and strive daily to create positive meaningful educational experiences for them, even on Valentine's Day. In past years on Valentines we have been inundated with deliveries. This is a major distraction for students and teachers. We believe it negatively impacts learning. Because of that, we will not be delivering Valentine gifts to students at school. Thank you for your support in this.
Student Success Center: The Student Success Center in room 109 is available to assist students in reaching their academic goals. Students and parents can use this link to fill out a form letting us know the student would like some help. A student success tracker will meet with each student to work out a time for them to come in and get help.
Career Fair at SaJHS: Salem Jr. High will be having a Career Day for students in March 2023. Between now and then we will be looking for presenters from a wide variety of careers. Math Lab: Math lab is every Tu-Thur after school until 3:45. If your student struggles with math then this is a great opportunity to get some one on one help.
Girls High School Softball Open Gym : Open gym begins now. If you are a 9th grade girl and interested in playing high school softball please pick up a schedule for open gym in the front office. Tryouts will be held February 27th and 28th.
Congratulations: Both our Girls and Boys basketball teams will play in the championship tournament on Thursday.
