Youth athletic leaders from secondary schools in Nebo School District gathered for Captains’ Academy this morning. This program is a powerful venue for students in leadership positions to increase communication and friendship among student athletes. Students are provided the opportunity to meet with their peers who are leaders in the same activities, discuss and plan how to lift others and encourage sportsmanship and leadership, and collaborate with one another to address shared challenges. The team captains from SaJHS for our Fall sports are pictured from left to right: Brighton Brindley - Boys Wrestling, Brenner Neilson - Boys Basketball, Bree Thompson - Girls Basketball, Jessica Miller - Girls Wrestling. Our captains enjoyed learning more about how to be a leader.
