This week we had over 90 of our Salem Spartans battle out their book knowledge in our Salem Jr. Battle of the Books Competition. Our heated, final match between “Book Royals” and “Story Snails” resulted in a one point victory for “Story Snails”, making them our winning team for two years in a row! Congratulations to the members of both teams!
The members of the “Story Snails” are - Rachel Peterson, Sydnie Utter, Alayna Maestas, Mary Linford and Evelyn Loor. The members of “Book Royals” are Dallin Levie, Tyler Balls, Abigail Ballentyne, Lydia Cope, and Savana Berger .
We’d also like to congratulate Abigail Ballantyne, Nate Willis, Rachel Peterson, Tyler Balls, Jeremy Ashton, Dallin Levie, Lydia Cope, Gracie Griffiths, Taytum Paxman, Alayna Maestas, Ashton Cook, and Nate Call for reading all 20 books in the competition!
Next Friday the Champions, “Story Snails”, will compete against other teams in our District for the title of District Champs! Wish them luck!
