8th-grade vs. faculty basketball game

Submitted by sam.mcgrath on

Last Friday, we held our annual 8th-grade vs. faculty basketball game. Every year the 8th-graders get the chance to go up against their teachers in a 25 minute, full-court contest. It was a lot of fun listening to students cheer on their fellow students as they brought their best game against some of the teachers.

Most cheer for the student team, but, every year, there is always a small group of 9th-graders who cheer for the teachers.

A semester in girls P.E.

Submitted by sam.mcgrath on

In PE This year we have done a lot of fun and challenging things. Yet we have had so much fun. In the beginning of PE, we did land paddling it was so fun. Land paddling is where you have a paddle board then you have a paddle that looks like a real paddle but had a rubber end to it that helped you stop. It was ultimately fun.

After we did volleyball. The hard part in volleyball was that a lot of us couldn’t get it above the net, but it was still very fun to play.

Choir Christmas Concert Thursday, December 14

Submitted by sam.mcgrath on

Another term has rolled around since our last concert, which means we have another concert coming soon (December 14th, at 7:00 P.M. to be specific). The Christmas concerts are always very exciting, and our choirs have been working very hard to make sure we have a memorable time for both the students and the audience. Along with the concert, last Friday the advanced choirs (Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Bella Voce) performed at both the Provo and Orem malls. This is always one of the choir highlights of the year and always stirs up excitement.
