Today is Job Shadow for Salem Junior High. Students code-named "Captain America" & "Hawkeye" did their Job Shadow visiting the SIS specialist Kim Hudson ("Oh Great Kim!") at the District Office. As part of this experience they got to visit all the different departments throughout the district.
At first they went down to the IMC where they saw all of the printers and teacher resources. They even got their own coloring pages that they shrink-wrapped. They visited the rest of the departments and got their own official name tags. After all that they went to the Warehouse and found where all school lunches come from. They went into the -10 degree freezer and got cookies! They met most of the staff and found out where everything in our school comes from. But the best part was meeting the district web-master who showed them how to write this article.
