National School Lunch Week: Mar 3 - 7 72.93 KB

On Tuesday March 4, for National School Breakfast Week, the cafeteria staff are offering the staff and the students a free breakfast. You will be able to choose breakfast pizza, or pop tart and cereal, with your choice of milk, also fresh strawberries and blueberries. They will begin serving at 7:00.

The Nebo School District is celebrating National School Breakfast week March 3-March 7. The 2014 theme for this annual event is "Take Time for School Breakfast". On Monday, Mayor Steve Leifson will  join the students at Rees Elementary for breakfast and read the official proclamation to open the week's events. Throughout the week we have numerous activities including prize giveaways in the cafeterias and both a school and district-wide art contest. Students can enter their school's art contest for a small prize. The winner at each school will then be submitted to the district-wide contest. We will choose 4 district-wide winners who will receive bicycles as a grand prize! The Nebo School District encourages families and students to participate in our school breakfast and lunch programs. We hope you have a fun celebration!

Don't forget about the National School Breakfast Week art contests this week. The winner from each school will be submitted to the district-wide contest and will have a chance to win a bicycle. Check with your school about how to to submit your drawing. Please "Take Time for School Breakfast" and have a happy National School Breakfast Week!
