Mrs. Kellie Roberts was awarded the Crystal Apple Award during Monday's faculty meeting. Horace Mann representatives partner with local school administrators each year to sponsor the Crystal Apple Award program for recognizing teaching excellence.
Mrs. Miya recognized Roberts as being a dedicated, caring teacher who works tirelessly to meet the needs of her students. Miya also recognized Roberts for being a leader in her field of study. Miya said that when she first met her, Roberts was like a sponge working hard to learn everything she could to be a better teacher.
Congratulations Mrs. Roberts! Thanks for everything you do for our faculty, our students, and for our community.
