It is 1 week and 5 days till Star Wars: The Force Awakens and this week we’re talking Episode 2: Attack of the Clones. This is the 5th movie made in the saga in the world’s timeline, but it is the 2nd in the Star Wars timeline. Since this is an opinion article, I going to totally slam this movie, so stop reading now if you love it.

This movie came out on May 16, 2002, which is 13 years ago. It cast Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker and Natalie Portman as Padme Amidala. In this movie, Anakin is trying to get Padme to like him, even though she kinda gives the impression that she hates him. The story Anakin gives is lame. He should’ve been this kind guy whose *SPOILER ALERT, BUT SERIOUSLY IT’S BEEN OUT FOR 13 YEARS* mother dies and that what causes him to be a jerk to everyone. It wasn’t good that he just out of nowhere turned bad.

The clones are awesome in this movie. George Lucas really did a good job of showing how the clones were made. He also did a good job of leaving the mystery of who ordered them and why it was so secretive. They really bring an awesome feeling of war in one of those last shots where their masses are getting on to warships.

Overall, every Star Wars movie is great, but this ranks last on my list. It had weird emotional scenes with Anakin and Padme and it didn’t bring the romance that was needed. The action was awesome and I recommend everyone see it.
