Congratulations to Ammon Wallace who was chosen from more than 6,000 students to be in Broadcom Masters' top 300 students for his science fair submission. Some of you will remember last year when we posted about Ammon's project that explored the possibility of extending the shelf-life of milk using blue light. We were impressed with Ammon's creative solution and it turns out that so were the judges.
This is a huge win for Ammon who will recieve free year-long subscriptions to science magazines and several other prizes. If chosen, the next step for Ammon would be Washington D.C. where 30 finalists will compete for top recognition and a grand prize of $25,000.
Make sure to congratulate Ammon and recognize this great achievement. Ammon is a great example for all of us of what it means to be Spartan Strong.
